If you have been inspired to start a new church in Victoria , here are some immediate steps you can take to make it happen.

1. Write a proposal for your church plant and a strategy

• It is important that everyone go through the process of strategizing area, location and vision for what God has put on your heart for this plant

2 . Do a church name search through ASIC

• This will check through all incorporations to see if your name is already in use. Click here for the ASIC website, www.search.asic.gov.au

3. Read through all important ACC (AOG) material

• ACC Statement of Fundamental Beliefs
• ACC Policy Statements for Churches

4. Fill out an Endorsement Form (see below) and mail to Enlarge Victoria

• P O Box 518, Frankston VIC 3199

5. Meet with the district leader in your area

6. Wait for Endorsement, (which can take up to 3 months)

7. Once you have been endorsed contact the AOG Victoria State Office for an Incorporation Kit, see www.aogvic.com.au

8. Apply to ATO for your ABN number, Charitable Status for Fringe Benefits, and GST registeration at www.ato.gov.au
